Romsey

The Test Valley Creative

This is an initiative that was introduced to allow artists in every medium and discipline to get together and share ideas. Creative individuals in Romsey can network and promote their artwork and events.

Test Valley Arts Foundation

This is a grant-giving charity that mainly focuses on cultural causes, supporting a wide range of arts and music for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike. Especially popular is the foundation's Romsey Chamber Music Festival. The charity also encompasses literature and the performing arts, working with local poets and writers. A locally produced movie is a hilarious look at Romsey, supported by the foundation.

Romsey Art Group

For those interested in various creative artworks, this is a lively group with a membership of potters, painters and woodcarvers. Their headquarters are within the Mountbatten Gallery, which is a meeting place for cultural exhibitions. Art courses are also held here, as is the Romsey show, which allows visitors to watch the artists at work.
